Last year, falls and fractures cost Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS and social care agencies £85m. Cambridgeshire County Council launched a new online campaign this month which aims to reduce falls, fractures and potential admission to hospital by linking to classes across the county as part of a £3m investment to improve and transform its service to older people.

Free online resources to help build strength and balance including video tutorials and home exercise programmes can be accessed here: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/be-well/your-health-and-wellbeing/stay-stronger-for-longer/

There are also classes available at St Peter’s Church in March on Fridays 2.45-3.45pm and at Doddington Methodist Church on Fridays 1.30-2.15pm the cost is members £4 / guests £5. To book, or for more information please contact Forever Active: enquiries@forever-active.org.ukor 07432480105
