Police Firearms Officers Association

It was fascinating to visit the Police Firearms Officers Association (PFOA) museum in Chatteris. The history of armed policing and the exhibits from the 1600s to present day tell a sobering but captivating story. It is hard to imagine the split-second decisions that armed officers need to make on a daily basis. The PFOA also does great work to prevent people carrying guns and other weapons and has members that know, first-hand, the devastation that they can bring. Thanks to Mick Crozier for showing me round.
