Football accredited grassroots clubs in the constituency could have a chance of getting their kitchens upgraded so they can serve their communities with food and refreshments. The FA has partnered with Howden’s kitchens in a £3million programme to support grassroots football clubs. The scheme will support clubs to make their matchday experience more enjoyable and increase revenue opportunities.
Residents will know I’m a big supporter of grassroots sport and the many volunteers who give up their valuable time to bring the community together. The winning clubs will be those who show how the kitchen improvements will enable clubs to connect with their communities and make best use of the skills within the club. It’s open to 2* and 3* accredited clubs who meet the freehold or lease criteria.
