The long-anticipated Whittlesey Relief Road project has finally announced its first public consultation. Residents and businesses are invited to view and comment on the options for the project, which aims to address traffic issues and boost future growth.
The Whittlesey community needs to be heard on these options to ensure they reflect the needs of everyone in the area. I encourage as many people as possible to participate and share their views. Your feedback on the options will be used to inform the final designs, with a decision expected in early 2025.
Consultation information will be available at Whittlesey Town Council offices throughout the consultation period, which runs from Wednesday, 23 October to Friday, 22 November. There will also be two in-person consultation events and an online event.
